Universitas Sriwijaya demonstrates strong readiness in achieving SDG 7 through a comprehensive clean energy strategy encompassing policy, research, and community outreach. The university has established an institutional framework to integrate renewable energy systems, improve building efficiency, and promote carbon neutrality.

Research excellence is visible through international publications in renewable energy, while operational sustainability is achieved via green campus initiatives and energy audits. UNSRI’s community engagement programs such as “Smart Energy for Villages” empower local communities to adopt clean energy practices.

The university aims to reach 100% renewable electricity by 2030, aligning with Indonesia’s net-zero ambitions and positioning UNSRI as a regional leader in sustainable campus transformation.
